Technology Overview

Our sensors are single use, disposable test strips. They are designed to be manufactured using processes similar to glucose test strip production. This enables high volume, low cost manufacturing that can scale to billions of units.

The core technology is a proprietary chemistry that can be functionalized to detect gas or liquid biomarkers. The sensors are ultra-fast and ultra-sensitive with detection limits in the range of 1 ppb in gas and 1 ng/mL in liquid with a sample to result in 10-60 seconds.


Principle of Operation

Our sensors are chemiresistive. The resistance of the sensor changes in response to the target analyte. The change is proportional to the analyte concentration.

Clinical Performance

To demonstrate feasibility of our asthma solution, we compared the sensor’s analytical and clinical performance to the FDA 510K application of an approved technology (k072816) for measuring fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO). The current sensor prototypes meet or exceed all performance characteristics. The product is currently in development.
